I love Sacred Art and I believe it is something extremely healthy and wholesome for people in general. Whether it is to decorate a church or a home, paintings of Mary, Jesus, the Saints, and any of the biblical stories are some of the best subjects to paint. Living in Florence, Italy for six years, I got to see all of the beautiful church paintings, sculptures, and architecture that points to the divine. I really wish we had the same kind of beauty here in America. One of my goals is to make the churches as beautiful here as they are over in Europe. I want people to experience what I did when I used to live over sees. Painting can reach people where words can’t. I think painting Mary is probably my favorite thing to paint.
