About the Artist

Louis Guidetti studied at the Florence Academy of Art from 2000 - 2005 under Daniel Graves and other well known painters such as Ramiro Sanchez, Hunter Eddy, and Joakim Ericsson. After six years in Italy, he moved to Georgia where he started his painting career in his art studio where he first started doing work for the Catholic Church. His first painting “Our Lady of the Eucharist” hangs in the narthex of Saint Monica Catholic Church in Duluth, Georgia. After two years in Georgia, Louis moved back home to North Carolina where he got another church commission of “The Immaculate Conception” depicting Mary surrounded by angels which hangs above the altar in the chapel of adoration of Saint Ann Catholic church in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Louis has also painted several still life, landscape and portrait commissions and is currently open for commissions in these genres. He currently works in his downtown art studio where he does an array of paintings and also hosts a figure drawing class once a week for artist of like mind.

Aside from painting, Louis enjoys making YouTube videos with a touch of humor to help people learn how to draw and paint. He also live streams his work several times a week for anyone interested in watching the raw process of drawing and painting.
